Where does Apricot Day Cream fit into the Dr. Hauschka daytime skin care range and how does it differ from Rose Day Cream and Revitalising Day Lotion?
Previously the Dr. Hauschka daytime skin care range did not have an intensively rich and nurturing product for dry, dull, tired skin, only Rose Day Cream for skin prone to redness. These skin conditions have different care needs though and the introduction of Apricot Day Cream now enables us to seal this gap.
The aim was to develop a rich daytime skin care product suitable for dry, pale, dull, tired skin.
Like Rose Day Cream, Apricot Day Cream is a rich skin care product.
Whereas Rose Day Cream is suitable for skin prone to redness (enlarged capillaries, couperose), Apricot Day Cream revitalises pale and dull skin.
Both Revitalising Day Lotion and Apricot Day Cream have a revitalising, activating effect, however, Apricot Day Cream has a far richer and more nourishing texture than the light lotion.
Dry skin is not the same in different people.

Skin is producing oil and has moisture but isn’t able to hold on to it. Our Rose Day Cream will help this skin condition and protect it.

Apricot Kernel Oil and Apricot Fruit Extract

Fermented Grain Extract
Fermented grain (oat, rye and wheat) contains live bacteria, and bioactive ferments and acid-resistant yeast cells.

Avocado Oil
Contains many essential fatty acids and vitamins.
Supports the moisture balance of the skin and prevents it from dryness.
Marshmallow root extract - has a very high mucilage content which forms a protective layer on skin to soothe, give moisture, helps make skin soft and supple.
St. John’s wort flower/leaf/stem extract - produces a red oily extract which has a soothing, regenerating and strengthening action on the skin. In cosmetic concentrations St. John’s wort oil does not make the skin more sensitive to sunlight.
Olive oil - from first-press and cold press to preserve the character of the oil. It has an excellent fatty acid composition which cares for the skin and makes it smooth.
Calendula - has been used successfully for centuries for its anti-inflammatory, soothing and regenerating properties.
Carrot root extract - we obtain an oily extract which is rich in provitamin A (carotenoids). This cares for the skin and makes it soft and supple. It gives cosmetic products a natural yellow colour.
Raspberry seed oil - is a relative of the rose. A fruity, fine oil with a high Vitamin E content is obtained from its seeds, which preserves the youthfulness of the skin. Also high in unsaturated fatty acids, linoleic acid, linolenic acid and carotenoids.
Seabuckthorn - high content of carotenoids, potent cell-regenerating, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
